Sue found in yoga a pathway to improved physical strength and flexibility. More importantly, however, Sue found many benefits on a psychological level through a regular yoga and meditation practice.

Contact Sue to arrange a tailor-made private class designed to meet your specific goals. Private sessions facilitate progress towards your individual goals the most effectively.

By using a combination of simple yoga postures, modern stretching principles, and meditation practices, private yoga sessions with Sue help participants to release, relax, and re-energise body and mind. All ages, shapes, fitness and experience levels are welcome – we can all move forward from where we are, towards a stronger body and a clearer, more focused mind.

Private classes can be held at a time convenient to you. Classes are available on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, and there are morning or afternoon options. Classes typically last 1 – 1.5 hr. Payment is per class, or 3-session packages are available, providing a more cost-effective option.

Cost per class: $150

3 session pass: $400.

    Once your booking request form is received, Sue will contact you to confirm an appointment date and time. A $50 deposit is then required to hold your booking, and can be paid by EFT or Paypal. The balance of your session cost can be made at the time of your appointment, by EFT or credit card.

    Why Yoga & Meditation?

    We can move into stillness through yoga. Yoga provides an opportunity to release, relax, and re-energise. Through physical postures, breathing, and meditation/relaxation exercises, the body and mind can find a place of stillness.

    Through stillness, we can gain awareness – awareness of our body, mind, and spirit. Awareness of what it is we want and where it is we are going.

    Yoga is a path to optimal experience. According to Csikszentmihalyi (Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience, 1990), yoga relates in several ways to flow, and provides a useful model for anyone wanting to be in better control of their energy. Csikszentmihalyi wrote in Flow (1990, p. 106) that yoga can be regarded as “one of the oldest and most systematic methods of producing the flow experience.” Find out more about the flow experience.

    Yoga is for all – all ages, sizes, shapes, and levels of fitness – from elite athlete to reluctant exerciser. Sue combines a scientific background in psychology and sport science (MSc & PhD), with yoga teacher training and ongoing professional development, to provide classes that are safe, focused, and enjoyable.
